v3 — collapsible at 2 levels: Top-level sections (Assigned · In progress · Recently completed) collapse via the ▾/▸ caret on the section header. Sub-groups inside (Overdue / Due today / This week / Later, and the per-day date headers in Completed) collapse independently. Persistence stays per-user via localStorage so your preferred view sticks.

In the current mockup: "In progress" section is shown collapsed (▸). Under Assigned, "Later" is collapsed. Under Recently completed, "May 13" is collapsed. Everything else expanded by default.

"Collapse all · Expand all" control top-right of the page applies to all sections at once. Default state on first visit: everything expanded.

Good to lock? If yes, that's all four tabs designed (Dashboard · Sim/Boards adaptations · Assessments · Case Library) plus the header lockup. I'll write the design doc next.
